A letter from the YWCA Greenwich

YWCA Greenwich is celebrating its centennial this year, and we hired Jeff Cadge to create a video for us that would capture the depth and breadth of our organization and the work we do for the Greenwich community.

The video turned out exactly as we had hoped. Jeff and his team were terrific to work with. They were professional, gave great advice, and they were diligent about getting the shots exactly right. In addition, in shooting the piece about domestic violence, they were very respectful of the victims who agreed to speak on camera, and they made them feel very comfortable. Importantly, Jeff met all of his commitments on schedule. Jeff nailed the story on the first go around . We made just a couple of minor adjustments and went final with in 48 hours of receiving the first cut.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westchester and Putnam County had its BEST EVER gala this past October, thanks to the video produced by Jeff Cadge and his team.

Creating video and organizing multiple speakers to depict the essence of our program is very challenging. The selection and organization of the participants alone is difficult – often the children we serve are not particularly outspoken and/or charismatic. However, working with Jeff from the conception of our project to the delivery at our gala was positive and productive at all times. Jeff made our participants comfortable and eager to participate, not to mention how amazing his technique is with the actual interviewing, filming and photography.

I would have to add that our agency was in a state of transition, so the video was very often the lowest high priority I had….simply said, I wasn’t easy to deal with! I’ve worked with many filmmakers over the years and can absolutely say, we never would have been able to produce such a wonderful piece had we not been working with Jeff. His patience, flexibility and professionalism were most appreciated, especially last fall.
